AWS Newsroom

New Onsite Experience for 2024!

The NAB Show LIVE News Desk powered by AWS and NVIDIA will be programmed jointly by NAB and AWS and produced in partnership with Broadcast Beat Studios for all Show attendees and virtual audiences to enjoy. The LIVE program will include a combination of live segments from the AWS News Desk and immersive reports from the Show Floor with exhibitors and attendees.

From Sunday through Wednesday the NAB Show LIVE program will run on AWS for the first half of the day and switch in the afternoons to Broadcast Beat Studios operated out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Each day will kick off with “Good Morning NAB Show!” a 60-minute program hosted by Ryan Salazar that will be programmed in much the same way a news show with specific time-allotted segments and commercial breaks.

The cloud-based component of the News Desk, will be operated from a production control room located at the AWS booth (W1701) that will include a technical director and audio mixer, while a graphics operator and a video editor will contribute remotely. In addition to NVIDIA, several other AWS partners are contributing to this activation, including AP ENPS, Ross Video, Telos Alliance, LiveU, Haivision, CaptionHub, Zixi, Alpha, Aoto and Ikan.
