Dawn Fleischman is a seasoned Director of Photography and Camera Operator with a career spanning back to 1995. She began as a 2nd AC/Loader before quickly advancing to a skilled Focus Puller, gaining early experience in commercials, music videos, and feature films. Over the past two decades, she has specialized in reality TV, competition shows, and game shows, bringing expertise in handheld and multi-cam reality shooting. In addition, Dawn is an accomplished underwater camera operator and an expert in dynamic motion control time-lapses, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and highly sought-after DP and operator.

Her portfolio includes collaborations with industry leaders across a wide range of productions. Career highlights include lensing Gloria Steinem's Talking Shop MasterClass, working on the groundbreaking series Chasing the Cure, hosted by Ann Curry, and serving as DP for the FBOY Island franchise. Dawn has also operated on a variety of productions and genres, from Wheel of Fortune to Bachelor in Paradise, Grey’s Anatomy to MasterChef, Tough as Nails to Love is Blind, and many more.

Beyond her on-set work, Dawn is an active member of Local 600, serving on the board for the past six years. She is also part of the Unscripted Working Group and the DEI Committee and was appointed to the negotiations committee for the last contract cycle. Passionate about sharing her knowledge, she finds great fulfillment in teaching and mentoring. In addition to volunteering for the Society of Camera Operators (SOC), she also serves on their DEI committee.
