Guy Bouchard is an industry consultant with extensive experience in broadcasting and telecommunications. Over the course of his career, he has held various roles, including Lab Engineer and Lab Manager at CBC, as well as Director of Transmission and Director of Multiplatform Operations at Télé-Québec. His expertise spans analog and digital television transmission, production systems, and satellite and terrestrial microwave communication technologies.

Guy holds a degree in telecommunications from the Université du Québec and is the current IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, Vice President. He has authored and presented numerous papers on topics such as digital television (DTV), satellite technology, and MPEG transport systems at conferences, for NAB, CCBE, IEEE, Canadian Digital Television (CDTV), and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
