Technical senior advisor, Governance and Engineering at CBC/Radio-Canada

Mathieu Rochon, a Senior Technical Advisor at CBC/Radio-Canada, brings 25 years of deep technical expertise in television broadcasting. He currently leads the implementation of the EBU's DMF reference architecture via the Universal Production Platform (UPP), showcasing his proficiency in large-scale system integration. Throughout his career, Mathieu has successfully guided CBC/Radio-Canada through pivotal industry shifts, including analog-to-SDI, SD-to-HD, and the construction of a full ST-2110 production facility. His leadership also extends to high-profile events, notably serving as the primary technical lead for CBC/Radio-Canada’s Olympic Games coverage.
