Rickelle Jones is a Computer Science major with a minor in African Studies at Howard University, dedicated to exploring the intersections of technology, data science, and innovation. As a NextGen Fellow and Certified Scrum Master, she is actively contributing to the future of broadcasting by developing data-driven solutions that enhance system resilience and reliability.
In her role with NextGen, Rickelle is focused on creating a dashboard that demonstrates BPS (Broadcast Positioning System) as a viable backup and resilient PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) system. This dashboard is designed to allow both stakeholders and technical users to visualize BPS capabilities in real time, making it easier to assess its potential as a critical infrastructure solution.
With experience in data analysis, AI/ML model development, and software engineering, Rickelle is passionate about using technology to solve real-world challenges. Through her work, she aims to bridge the gap between technical innovation and industry adoption, ensuring that broadcasting continues to pioneer solutions for the future.
