Thaïs Castralli is a Los Angeles-based director of photography originally from São Paulo, Brazil. 

She received her MFA in Cinematography from the AFI Conservatory in 2016.  She began her career in film as a storyboard artist in Brazil, moving into the camera department as a film loader and AC. Since then, she has transitioned into camera operating and cinematography. 

Thaïs also has years of experience working for companies in the industry, such as Leica Camera, Zeiss Cine Lenses and Eastman Kodak.
