Joe Beirne is a moving-image technologist and producer with more than 30 years of experience in film and television post-production. An early advocate of HD, digital non-linear editing and the DI process, Beirne is an active member of SMPTE, ACM (SIGGRAPH), the Hollywood Post Alliance and the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA.) He is currently CTO of Technicolor | PostWorks in New York.
