Travel Visa Information

Advance travel planning and early visa application are important. To enter the Unites States many international visitors will require a visa and this can be a lengthy process.

Applicants should check the website of the nearest embassy or consulate for the current operating status. And information about nonimmigrant visa wait times are available on the visa wait time tool.

Submitting a Visa Application

Here are some suggested steps to follow when applying for a visa and may help improve the chance of your application being approved:

  • While submitting an official Letter of Invitation from NAB Show with your application is an important step in this process, the letter does not guarantee approval of your application. The letter is supplementary information that explains an applicant’s travel purpose into the United States. U.S. Embassy officers look at an applicant’s personal and professional situation in determining visa eligibility.
  • Procedures for applying for a visa are slightly different for Attendees and Exhibit Staff – please review and follow the correct path based on your registration type.
