Currently serving as Vice Chair of the Producers’ Guild of America New Media Council, Caitlin Burns has spent a decade working with narrative intellectual property franchises, independent artists, brands and philanthropic initiatives. Developing content strategies, overseeing multiplatform storyworlds and supervising localization campaigns spanning the globe, she understands what it takes to create a success story.

Her past work includes: Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney Fairies, Tron Legacy and Disney Descendants for The Walt Disney Company, James Cameron’s Avatar for Fox, Halo for Microsoft, The Happiness Factory for The Coca-Cola Company, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Nickelodeon and Transformers for Hasbro. She has also worked with Sony, Showtime, Pepperidge Farm, Scholastic, Tribeca New Media Fund, FEMSA, Diageo, Wieden+Kennedy, Odd Division, Tool of North America, Hush, Campfire, Reebok, Stratasys and UNICEF. Her independent feature McCarren Park, a film distributed by geolocated mobile app, premiered at the Tribeca Film Institute’s Interactive Day and screened at New York Film Festival.

Benjamin Lehmann

About the Contributor

Benjamin Lehmann is a producer with vast and varied experience in creative content development and production. Prior to Sesame Street, Lehmann was an independent producer, cinematographer and director with his own production company.

As Senior Producer, Lehmann oversees the Sesame Street Post Production, Film & Animation Commissioning and Digital Production departments for the iconic children’s show. He is responsible for the production of all content experiences across linear and digital platforms for Sesame Street. He also directs for the show and for digital and social media projects. Lehmann has been with the show for 13 years and has won 5 Emmy Awards for his work, as well as 3 Producer’s Guild Awards. Lehmann currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Producer’s Guild of America East and was Co-chair of the inaugural Produced By: New York conference in 2014. He also serves on the board of the Children’s Media Association as Vice President.

Lehmann received a BA from Colorado University, Boulder. He grew up in Paris, France and Los Angeles, CA and now lives in Astoria, Queens with his wife and two children.

Bak Seung

Seung Bak is CEO and co-founder of DramaFever, the leading online destination for international television shows and movies. He founded the company in 2009 with Suk Park, with the mission to be a destination for new cultural experiences through entertainment. In 2014, DramaFever was acquired by SoftBank Internet and Media, Inc. (“SIMI”).

Prior to DramaFever, Seung was Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Capital IQ, a leading provider of information services to the global financial community. Seung served a variety of marketing, sales, strategy, finance, and operational roles in helping Capital IQ grow from a seed stage startup to a $400+ million revenue business. Previously, he was an investment banker at CapitalKey Advisors, the precursor to Capital IQ, where he advised venture-stage and middle-market companies. Seung earned a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester.

Anthony Wilcox

Anthony worked for fifteen years as an assistant director, predominantly in European independent cinema, alongside directors such as Jane Campion, Terence Davies, Anthony Minghella and Lars von Trier. He has enjoyed a long working relationship with Michael Winterbottom and Andrew Eaton at Revolution Films as an assistant director, producer and 2nd Unit Director. As well as writing and directing three short films, he also directed the 2nd Unit on Winterbottom’s ‘The Look of Love’ (2013) and Mat Whitecross’ ‘Spike Island’ (2013) Anthony’s feature film debut as writer and director, Hello Carter, premiered in competition at the Dinard Film Festival 2013 and was also an official selection for the 2013 London Film Festival. It received its UK theatrical release in December 2014 and was nominated for ‘Best Screenplay’ at the UK National Film Awards. As well as developing The Noisiest Hour with the BFI, in the past twelve months Anthony has directed the Labour party’s final election broadcast with Steve Coogan and a mini episode of ‘The Trip’ for Children in Need, featuring Coogan again, along with Rob Brydon. ‘Shield 5’, a unique crime-drama broadcast exclusively on Instagram, debuted during February 2016. Anthony created and directed the series which received worldwide recognition and is now the most followed series on the social media platform.

Chick Foxgrover

Chick Foxgrover leads the outreach to digital professionals in advertising, focusing on the discovery of important advances in digital marketing technology and practices. He also develops digital strategy for the 4A’s, overseeing the management of the association’s important knowledge assets and serves 4A’s members with digital insights and best practices. Chick joined the association in 2008 as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, with responsibility for information technology, digital strategy and practice as well as overseeing the upgrade and modernization of the association’s technology and digital presence. He brought together the expanding community of creative and digital technologists with the creation of the 4A’s Creative Technology Committee and in 2011, spearheaded the launch of CreateTech, the premier annual conference focused on the rapidly advancing field of creative technology. Chick also speaks at other technology conferences and works with technology and future-oriented organizations on behalf of the association and the industry. Previous to joining the 4A’s, Chick was senior vice president and managing director of Interactive, Wechsler Ross & Partners; vice president and director of Creative Technologies, Foote Cone & Belding, New York; and manager of Desktop Publishing Technologies for Citibank. He also cofounded Foxpath IND, a digital publishing consultancy.

Fred Mattocks

Fred Mattocks is the General Manager of Media Operations for CBC’s English Services. As such he is responsible for the operations of English Services programming and services for all media. Fred is a member of the English Services Senior Management Team. He led Technology and Technology Strategy for CBC for a number of years as a founder, member, and Chair of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Technology Strategy Board, and is currently Head of Technology Strategy for the company under its new Media Technology and Infrastructure Services division.  Fred has a long and varied experience in the CBC in operations and in programming. In his last role he

was responsible for the redefinition of CBC Television’s local news offer, a project which re-engineered local television across the country. He also created a line of low cost daily lifestyle programming in regional locations. In his various roles in operations he has been responsible for enabling the shift of English Services internal structure from dedicated media silos to a “content company” model where content assets are created and deployed to create the maximum overall benefit for the citizen consumer. Among the projects he has created and led are the transition to HDTV, the transition to file based production for all media, “central-casting” for Television and Radio, and the move of production tools to the desktop.

Hank Corwin Ace

Editor Hank Corwin has been recognized by ACE and the Los Angeles Film Critics Society and the AICE — and this year he was nominated the Best Editing Oscar for The Big Short. Corwin has a diverse resume, having worked with Terrence Malick on The Tree of Life and The New World, Robert Redford on The Horse Whisperer and Oliver Stone on Natural Born Killers, Uturn and Nixon. He also owns Lost Planet, a commercial editorial shop that has offices in Los Angeles and New York, where he keeps his hand in spot work and music videos.

James Neihouse Asc

James Neihouse, ASC, a native of Arkansas, earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brooks Institute and began his career at Marine Photographic Associates, which specialized in underwater photography. There, he worked on OCEAN, the first IMAX underwater film. Hooked on the big format, Neihouse became a member of the IMAX Space Team in 1984 and has since worked on more than two dozen IMAX films including many space-themed projects, among them The Dream is Alive, To Be an Astronaut, Hail Columbia, Space Station 3D, and Hubble 3D. His work often includes training astronauts on how to capture the stunning imagery and planning the unique logistics of such shoots. Among his many honors and awards is the Hubble 25th Anniversary Commendation, “for contributions that rival the best that NASA has achieved in innovation and overcoming challenges.”

Jason Schragger

Jason Schragger brings a diverse and accomplished background to his role of Chief Creative Officer at Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles. Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Australia, Jason’s global background includes working all over the world on brands like MINI, Adidas, IKEA and Levi’s. Prior to joining Saatchi LA, Jason served as Global Creative Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day for Nissan.
